me and my family went there on 1st May 2013 at around 2pm. 4 of us went in, a group of sales wearing Polo Tee were just siting at the counter talking. we walked from the left end of the showroom to the extreme right end where the Jetta was. we look at each and every single model but no one came to serve us. We walked back to the left end where the beetle was. Mind you , we took around 20+ min to look at all the models.

At the beetle show car, I look up and look at one of the sales. After looking at him for 1 min, he finally saw me and came over. I asked him about the advertised $120k jetta. He told me here dun have. On display only got the $140+k one. I ask him whats the diff between the 120k and 140k jetta. he just answer me " equipment".

I was so pissed. I asked him whats the diff btw the equipment he just answer cruise control and foglight then he walked away.

KKN damn du lan. we walked out immediately and went to nissan. Nissan was good. once we enter, a sales lady came to talk to us. Even Richburg motor was good.

Freaking VW. My father swear he will not buy from VW.

Anyway i went back to send a complaint letter to their feedback email. And there was a auto reply to say that it will get back to me on the next working day. Guess what? till now still no repy...

Dont act like your father own volkswagen la...

There is not enough SE for every person who goes into the showroom...you are buying the car not the sales man

You go Merc showroom la....there no people one but SE dont even bother to speak to you...but they are top sellers in sg every month..

The sales pitch of VW is that the batch of cars from 2012 onwards don't have DSG problem.

Only time will tell.

Agreed.

For such sales pitch, I listen or hear first. [sweatdrop]

Yup. My father dun own a VW. So? Was that even the point?

What do u mean by there is not enough SE for every person. It was the middle of the day the 4 or 5 of them were just Siting at the counter talking and slacking.

Even when 1 come after I look at him for close to 1 min, he just answered our question rudely and walk off.

We dun expect them to serve us like a king or What. At least reply our question nicely and not walk away.

Normally, if you get poor service, you move to the next dealer of the same brand until one that have decent service. Unfortunately, in Singapore, this usually does not exist.

But for me, what car I wanted is more important than the SE.

Turbocharged

In this time and age, do we really need a SE to buy a car?? Maybe during our fathers' time lah in the 70's and 80s. Nowadays with internet, any car enthusiast can spell out the different specs n trim better than the SE. We can buy so many things online, can even buy prostitute. Car should be like this way too. Order online, collect at showroom or deliver to doorstep.

BMW, you can configure online and take the print out and order, most probably PML would say there is no ready stock with that configuration!

In Singapore, most sales people are merely order takers. When I say most, it means 99.9% :D

i believe when u walk into the showroom u already know what u want to get. if keen interested is shown to purchase the car, no matter who the SE is, will definitely provide you with service.

if go into showroom and start asking question, possibly giving an intention of window shopping, SE probably cant be bothered as they're there to earn a living too.

no offence intending to any parties but condemn the SE not the brand =D
