no i mean those on existing contracts.

Where got $25 one. Even before last year, it was 29.90. Then changed to $34.90 or something like that.

Since BPL started on Mio, when did it ever have $25...

All existing contract with BPL should have expired, which means if you want to watch BPL Ned to pay $59.90 or sign new contract. [:)]

So that means for existing subscriber that no more contract, we can just continue to watch and they will increase price to $59.90 automatically?

Must check if you have existing contract to watch BPL. If not must pay additional $59.90 or re contract mio.

I believe you are on the previous contract. You can continue and access to the basic channels but no more BPL come 17 Aug. To access to BPL, you must re contract or pay additional $59.90 lol.

Actually ST will still get back some revenue even some Mio customers terminate their contract cos most of them will go over to SH to get the BPL plan which is $59.90.

For every new SH customer who sign the BPL plan, ST will at earn the $59.90. Knn its like u go to Shell to pump petrol - Esso will earn the $$$ - sighhhhhh

If you continue with ST, it is more worth to re contract ($69.90 bundle come with BPL and many other additional channels) then to pay $59.90 for BPL alone. If your broadband also with ST and recontract, can get further $20 discount per month, which works out to be $480 for the 2 year contract. [:)]

You are right. The $59.90 is just for watching BPL, this is in addition to the SH monthly charges. :D

Yes, you are right:)

Beside the $59.90, you still got to pay ST $12 every month for the telephone line, which is a must for you to watch the BPL. So, they will loss out the $$ on this additional chargers if customers go to Starhub :D

take the 64.90 package and no need the $12 set up box rental. but if one wants to watch on the SH platform, minimally needs to subscribe their basic plan so $35 per mth + $59.90 to ST.

Hi bro [wave]

The $12 no for the set top box. It is a must to have a singtel telephone line in order for you to watch the BPL if you are currently not a singtel mio tv customer. Singtel will bill you $36 every 3 mths just for the telephone line on top of your mio/BPL plan.

I just called starhub, the customer service say a package is a must to watch BPL. So I ask, I already had fiber broadband, can I don't include the fiber package and charge lower cost. The person say no. Is either I re-contract fiber package or with a new one. So for those whose starhub broadband still under contract, I do not know whether they will wave off the early re-contract fee or to impose penalty for early re-contract due to need to take up the package.

I thought with the newer fiber services, you don't need to have landline to connect for MIO TV?

That's my case.. My internet and mio tv all connect via my fiber connection..

ST don't even charge me anything for the box rental, so i just pay whatever i content i watch on MIO (which is BPL only). Don't need to subscribe to what basic group like SH..

Hi, so you only have a fiber broadband plan with SH. You will need SH set top box to watch the BPL & it is must to subscribe to their basic group. I think SH currently have a promotion which include fiber broadband, free home line, SH TV @ $66.

Yes that's what the customer service person say. But the question is what if those who had fiber or normal broadband with other telco or under contract. So will starhub wave off the early re-contract for fiber broadband or rebate for those who jump ship for early terminate fiber or broadband??
