The Honda Odyssey Absolute EX Advance is not the 'C' Spec package or the 20th Anniversary Edition.

Honda Japan no longer produce the 20th Anniversary Edition based on their website.

The new EX Advance basically have all that our local AD provide plus 190HP, 18 inch rims, Honda SENSING and Multi-view camera system + smart parking assist system.

must be the last few units this 20th

From browsing this thread, my conclusion is: PI Ody/ absolute seems to have better specs, more desirable and more value for money.

If Kah Motor is not careful (profit margin, specs indented etc), possible may end up similar situation as Borneo motors where their Previa was overtaken in sales by Estima many times.

Warranty/spare parts - not an issue usually for such Japanese make. In fact routine servicing will be more reasonable with "outside" workshop (cheaper, less waiting time).

Perhaps only the 110km/hr cruise control limit or 180km/h JDM top speed and "japanese" manual - but not a problem to most.

Also seen the absolute recently - even the exterior (with some additional chrome parts near the bumper) alone look much nicer than Plain KM Ody - by look alone most ppl may choose PI Ody in my opinion.

Hope to see more Absolute otr!

I agree with your observation. I am one of those who went for the PI Absolute model. One interesting fact that I found on LTA's website is that the average OMV for the PI Absolute models is actually higher than even KM's highest end model that comes with the infotainment extras, and they are sold for less.

However, most car buyers in Singapore would go for AD over PI, even more so for the general profile of Odyssey buyers.

Sure.

always admire pearl white!

Still like Ody in general ....Many yrs ago, after upgrade from Stream...have to give up my white RB1 (that time only cost $111K with COE with modulo body kit) as has problems carrying wheelchair for my late mom comfortably.  Fun to drive that Ody.

Hi,

May I know the company to change the leather.

Also have any installed a roof-top video screen for 20 Anniversary edition. Would it affect the curtain airbags?

Thanks.

There is bypass kit available for the permanently turn off. Cost around $170.

Is there any bypass kit for auto-folding the side mirror? Quite troublesome to remember to fold or unfold the side mirrors manually before shutting down the engine.

Not sure if its available for Odyssey, but I got it installed for my 2008 civic. I lost the contact of the workshop who did it for me. Nevertheless, if you do a search for those workshops that do installation of aftermarket keyless entry/push start systems, they should carry it as well. I remember that it was quite cheap.

Went to my usual installer and unfortunately the answer is no bypass kit for auto-folding the side mirror...

Anybody tried? Does it include installation?

I haven't tried. It is stated that price includes installation. No cutting of wires. Function seems a little different from the module installed in my previous car when the fold/unfold is mapped to lock/unlock. This is how I used to check whether I remembered to lock the car.
