Liminal_jj Neutral Newbie July 22, 2015 Share July 22, 2015 Hi all! I'm looking to purchase a vezel from PI JDM. Does anyone have any good reviews or negative experience with them? THanks!

Next month onwards higher quota, prices on downward trend, given larger quotas coming and poor economic outlook, no need to rush in unless need a car urgently...
hosei Clutched July 22, 2015 Share July 22, 2015 Any bro know where to get the foldable boot cover and how much per piece? Some PIs doesn't include that and some use those hard tonneau.
Vampalienx 1st Gear July 22, 2015 Share July 22, 2015 Hi, Any feedback on Vezel's pick up and cruising speeds? I test drove the HRV which is on a dated engine at Kah Motors, feel that it was quite ok but didn't really have the chance to speed up much around Ubi. Am now considering to switch from my 8yo Civic FD to Vezel X as I would need to renew COE 2 years later and I dun believe the COE price will go down significantly. Any bros here did similar switch e.g. Civic FD to Vezel? If so, how was the experience? Is Vezel better than or on par with Civic? I love the Harrier but the price is a bit tight for me - dun want to pay installments on a tight budget. Love the looks of the Vezel but too bad can't test drive at PIs, as such any feedback or advice would be great. Thanx! Hi Chengtl, i used to own a civil FD 1.6 and test droved the HRV from KM before ordering a vezel, and i think power and drivability is good enough. of cos cant compare a saloon with suv interms of cornering if you wanna drive like those type R civils do.. As a whole its good enough, with sufficient power, FC, space and looks. I just secure my coe today with just one bid, thanks for my PI:) Since your car still have 2 yrs to go.. i presume you might get a good trade-in price. Good luck.
tyco_kia 4th Gear July 22, 2015 Share July 22, 2015 From my understanding, vezel is direct from japan, not dealer around the world. so far vezel is their domestic use, not even in Europe or usa. More likely from those auction house in japan. came across 1 of the website before. yes vezel is made in japan no question about that but it's not purchased or imported directly from Honda as in PIs do not do direct purchase of it from them. They will have to source for the car from other dealers (or maybe like you said "auction houses") to get the Vezel in. If not what's the use of Honda appointing Kah Motor as their authorised dealer in SG? After all, there is a certain fulfillment on Kah Motor's part to Honda in regards to the authorised dealership. tyco_kia 4th Gear July 22, 2015 Share July 22, 2015 does it matter? still made in Japan as compared to HRV made in Thailand. honestly i don't quite care where it's made. I was just replying another bro's post on the OMV of vezel.
Ivan_06 5th Gear July 22, 2015 Share July 22, 2015 honestly i don't quite care where it's made. I was just replying another bro's post on the OMV of vezel. For cheaper price yet made in Japan, it's a no-brainer... I would choose cheaper price and yet made in Japan over thailand anytime.

Its not like agent built or assembled the vezel themselves.

happy_honda 1st Gear July 23, 2015 Share July 23, 2015 Bros, any advice whether I should pay the penalty and cancel my contract? The situation is, I booked a Vezel X from one PI (famous in this forum) at certain price (market price at that time). Paid 5K deposit and 10K for COE bidding. But the key is, no COE rebate given. So now the COE dropped 10K and Vezel X selling price dropped my than 5K, so should I ask to cancel my agreement? To me buying from PI is gambling and lose is just lose. But my wife says we should always go for better deal. Even we lose some admin charges, we can easily get it back if COE drops further after Aug. Any advice? Sincere thanks! Sincere thanks! moral of story... even famous (assume should be "reputable") PIs can screw u big time... really unethical people out there.... anyway, how come no COE rebate? Is their price really that attractive that you forgo this rebate.. I feel no matter what, die die must have some rebate, at least if coe go below that level, u will be compensated... anyway, in event that you really make the decision for pull out the deal, come here name the PI to shame them... take care bro.. Andyngps 5th Gear July 23, 2015 Share July 23, 2015 That's also the question I like to know....on paper the bhp and torque figure looks too sedated to me....but I may just consider it if I keep my current car for occasions I need to pump up my adrenaline. By the way, today I read a biz times article that PI vezel price can be as low as $109k. is it true? how much price you vezel owners paid and what omv your vezel is ? I would like to do some assessment of the depreciation. Look around. Got lower. Pm me.

Sincere thanks! maybe request them nicely to let you have the updated selling price, some friendly relations can go a long way. If not, as long as they don't ask you to top up money, if they get you your car "early"... enjoy your ride sooner. I think it's better than to lose deposit and "admin fees". happy_honda 1st Gear July 23, 2015 Share July 23, 2015 Coe drop of 10k is over couple of biddings. Have you gotten your coe yet? if got COE then I will not complain at all. The problem is, PI says they will not bid till Sep or later when the unit arrives SG. So need to wait for so long and at the same time, see COE drops fast ↡ Advertisement
