Some highlights extracted from the articles:

 

- Improved steering wheel control

this maybe an improvement as i went back to the installer who did my steering control for my 5650bt head unit. He did feedback that pioneer's controls are a little weird as it cannot control track changing for ipod/iphone excpet only volume control.

- Owners can now easily connect their smartphones to the receivers simply through their device's own USB cable, eliminating costly and complicated setups previously required.

So far model avh8650bt has two usb connection point to head unit as well as Mirror link cables (which costs $150) and memory card slot behind the cd receiver

My 5650 only has one single usb cable to head unit and have Mirror Link capabilities but no wire

- Improved Video Parameters - These models support an extensive range of video codecs including DivX, Xvid, H.264 and MPEG4. AVH-175DVD and AVH-275BT supports DivX, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MP3, AAC and WAV formats.

Most of the pioneer's 2013/14 models already able to play similar formats as mentioned above

Hello dino, heard some X model comes with it and some don't due to the shipment stock, i actually inspected my car and spotted the mistake thats why told my SE and he changed for me

Orr.... Hahaha... I saw the X model at TCL which is the same white one shown above.

 

Saw the interior with the Red/Black local leather.

 

I also saw the S model at Volks Auto last weekend.

 

As for the OMV, the boss at Volks showed me the One Motoring website that stated it at $20333.

 

Since someone saw S model at Volks Auto, can it give Volks Auto some credit? :-)

I too was in love with Mazda 3. But If you always have a spot for suv, then look and wait no further. And u cant compare a sedan and a suv. Its 2 different category. Why i bought vezel is becos:

 

1. Cheapest road tax among all suvs in sg.

 

2. Most affordable suvs in sg.

 

3. Sleek & stylish suv (for me la)

 

4. Cheaper and more hp power than Mazda 3.

 

5. It is a SUV!

 

Oh and cabin more spacious than mazda 3.

haha, everyone wants to know who collected from Volks Auto.

 

so far i think abt 4 - 5 paid and booked at Volks Auto... not a single one collected yet. They are the first of the first batch! =)

 

I think they can make money lah, very low margins. may be a business strategy to create some fame for themselves first.

if so, then its good for us consumers!!

If worried, maybe instead of putting the full requested deposit, you can split into 2 payments. One when you order and the second when they are going to bid your COE. At least you are somewhat covered.
