Should improve as it's on run in EO is mineral. Once changed to full-synthetic should be better.

Also.. what's your travelling route like? if mostly city.. then this is about right.

Hopefully! My pattern is ard 50/50.

Driving my car about 1 week as well.. Thk we collect the car almost same day i guess(last wed).. My FC now slowly climb to 9 average.. For my typical route to work 70/30 , i manage to get 13.5km/l woth smooth traffic...

70 highway u mean? 9 looks reasonable. Ya,i collected mine on wed! Interested to join a few of us in our internal x-trail discussion? Pm me.

Head unit just went hay wire yesterday, suddenly everything is upside down, even fhe nissan logo on start up. Went down to TC service centre but got nobody there, until a while later then got one service engineer appear and told me to wait. Luckily called my agent earlier and when she came down and saw that there was nobody, was visibly angry and started calling her hp and going into their office. Before i know it, she said that an external contractor is coming down now to check my unit and will probably take about an hour before the car is ready.

All in all, HU was replaced and car was ready in an hour. Guess next time better call her first instead of just driving down to TC. Luckily she was in as well else it may turn out to be a long day waiting yesterday.

Hi bro, yeah..it's pretty extensive, the dripping! I'm going for my 1k servicing on Friday so will check with the service advisor. I highlighted this to my salesperson previously and he asked me to check with the service guys as well...I'll check and let you know after I pick up my ride..

When you press the driver door, the rest of the doors should be able to open though...

Hey pple, just thought I do a quick update from last Friday's 1k servicing..for the dripping problem. It seems to be better after the servicing..my service report says," Pipe relocated.."...weird but I couldn't get my service advisor after calling 2-3 times after picking up my car...seems that Tan Chong customer service is a bit "hasty" and rushed cos there seems to be so many customers picking up the cars etc...anyway, will throw a quick update if anything changes.. [laugh]

Btw, any other bro installed the shark fin antenna? I just did mine and radio quality isn't fantastic..arghzz..anybody else experience similar issues after installing it as well?

Mine got no problem... But my radio was on when screwing the attachment to the mounting point to find the sweet spot before applying pressure on the adhesive of the cover.

i havent been noticing the dripping issue from my last update. hmm... pipe relocated seems to be just diverting the problem to somewhere else....

was thinking of changing to either shorter antenna or shark fins. I have been experiencing some static sound over the radio in mscps and sometimes even in open spaces. Class 95 seems to be mostly affected. feedback to my SE who mentioned that she got similar feedbacks from her customers. not sure if long (stock antenna) is better. if long is good, i cant imagine the quality if i change to a shorter one or shark fin. monitoring the radio quality for a few weeks first to see if i wanna change.

For those who got your car. how long from the date that you register the car before you got your car? my SE told me that will be 3 to 4 days later.. My previous experience with TC and Kah Motor, both time, I got it from the date that I registered.. is the SE trying to smoke me or the trend have changed?

Quick question, any idea if this car comes with autolock? That is to say car doors automatically when you drive, cause i cant seem to find it and ppl outside can just open my doors. Thanks

Weird huh.. in 2015 still having issues with FM reception. You would have thought this is something is a done-deal.

My previous car didn't have any external antenna and I did not experience any reception issues.

I recall reading somewhere that the cars do not have this feature as not EU compliant or something.

Hi All;

Been driving my X-Trial for a week now, FC is creeping up, currently at 9.2 KM/L average (This low reading is because I drove twice to JB and got stuck on the way back to SG for more then 1.5 Hours each). The best mileage that I got before is 13.3 KM/L from an evening peak hours drive from Alexandra to Yishun. surprisingly, I realised that using the cruise control in Expressway can help to lower down the fuel consumption.

The drive is smooth and quiet (Compare to my old Civic) but there are some vibration that shows up when I tried to use an additional clip on rear mirror and some loose coin in the center console. I have also change the antenna into a short version as the original will hit the top of any MSCP with a hight limitation of 1.8m. the interesting part was that the radio reception is still good without any antenna, so I think for those who are going for shark fin, can just go ahead.

The radio is acceptable but my advice is to tune the eq to suit your listening habit. the sound really cannot make it when new, some minor adjustment makes wonder.
