I second that query as well.

The purpose of subwoofers are to move large volume of air to generate that low end ommph. If the air movement is impeded, it kinds of subtract from the equation.

That is also why he experiencing alot of rattling and vibrations because the stock floor flap is probably bouncing about the hinge.

It is a pretty neat installation though, just need to figure a way to let the air volume move freely.

I don't disagree with you and @Tigershark1976. But it's either I prioritise form or function. With such a small boot (with the 3rd row seats up), I don't intend to sacrifice the already tiny boot for the sub.

I don't listen to bassy tracks too much. So a covered config works. However, if I want to, I'll just remove the boot panel and fold up the mat. Problem solved.

$810. Glass type

$810 for one session or over several separate sessions?

If one session and lasts no longer than a year , then a better solution is to get the car resprayed for $1500 (same colour) after 3-4 yrs.

One session... Warranty is for 3 yrs.

Yes Re-spraying is an option but if the paint work can be preserved or maintain then we can save the hassle. Downtime for re-spray is longer also.

I doubt it will last 3years and they have ways to fool proof their warranty which will be very difficult to exercise.

PPS for my previous car lasted >6 years. Still relatively shiny if u disregard the dings & scratches. Then again I'm not fussy as long as the swirls are not obvious.

PPS lasting 6 years is the longest I have heard? Which PPS was that ?

If the company knew its PPS could last 6 years I am sure they would have put it in the advertisements or in their warranty , attracting more customers. These companies always tend to overinflate .

You sure you lasting shine was due to the one time PPS and not good regular maintenance?

Mine after 7.5yrs and no PPS also very shining.
