PPS lasting 6 years is the longest I have heard? Which PPS was that ? 

If the company knew its PPS could last 6 years I am sure they would have put it in the advertisements or in their warranty , attracting more customers. These companies always tend to overinflate .

You sure you lasting shine was due to the one time PPS and not good regular maintenance?

Mine after 7.5yrs and no PPS also very shining.

 

Can't be regular maintenance... I've been very lazy with washing. I only wash once a month.

 

Anyway, like I say re-spraying is another option. I opted for PPS & I'm ok with it. It's still cheaper than some 'diamond treatment' costing > $1000.

Why don't you recommend me a PPS that can last 6 yrs with foolproof warranty and I will gladly go and get it applied. Even the PPS cos do not dare advertise as such. Most of them offer only a 3 yr warranty at most. I really do not care about the person who has already spent $800 on it but rather to alert the newbies considering it not to fall for such gimmicks. New cars can blind many of their owners. The excitement overcomes them and their logical thinking process does get freezed.

PPS for my previous car lasted >6 years. Still relatively shiny if u disregard the dings & scratches. Then again I'm not fussy as long as the swirls are not obvious.

 

second that. PPS for my current car done in year 2010. Most people commented my 7 yrs old car look quite ok compare to others of the same age.

Bro..I also nv apply PPS coz I dun think it's worth it. I'm just saying y must u be so negative and cynical. Like my incik in army said..."why did the lion eat the third lamb?" Answer "SONG". Ppl got money spend..let them be happy lo.
