Hi all..

Am thinking..which is a better car for family of 5? My 3 kids are between 11 to 15. We use the car as a family mostly on sundays. Looking at Nissan Xtrail or Subaru Forrester XT?

Thanks for advise...torn between these 2...haha. Wife prefers Xtrail due 3rd row...mmm....

Hi bro Xtrail is more of a family car but forester is better off road car

Yah.. Off road capability of forester useful when u wanna drive off road with wife to somewhere quiet make the forth kid.

After that you'll need xtrail to carry the extra person.

For comfort, xtrail. For power and driving pleasure, forester.

don't think so, Xtrail has 2WD/4WD switch which is more suitable off road and better FC in normal driving condition

I test drive X-trail before and I am fully agreed that very comfortable for the front row , conversely , terrible seating design for 2nd and 3rd row as what Theatres style ! Too high and swing too much for second row and 3rd row can't even sit .

Can't understand car seats configuration also want to have theatre style for better view from the 2nd and 3rd rows . Must admit that the quality of the seats are good and comfortable !

Hi, I was also looking at x-trail due to the extra seats, but after going to the show room and test drive, it did not meet my requirements, the 3rd row seat are too small even for a 10yr old kid. And the switch for accessing the 3rd roll is so cumbersome. The drive was ok. You should bring ur whole family down to test drive and try fit in to the car.
