xTRAILia Neutral Newbie July 3, 2016 Share July 3, 2016 Can I know the selling price of xtrail now, particularly without loan financing? TIAYou can check the selling price off nissan.com.sg . I believe its around 136k now and you should be able to nego at leadt 1-2k off the list price easily. A good thing for nissan cars is that they dont penalise you for not taking up financing as I also didnt take up their loan either.

czsquare Neutral Newbie July 6, 2016 Share July 6, 2016 Hi all, I just said goodbye to my ol' faithful Altis and welcomed my Xtrail on Monday. The family decided to name it the 'Red Rhino' haha. Will take the rest of today and probably the weekend to acclimatise ourselves to the new car, and figure out how/where to place our stuff inside the car, cos there are less compartmental space in the Xtrail than my previous car. But things we can immediately appreciate from the get-go is the higher siting position, the smooth sedan-like drive, and that lovely moon roof giving us the a view of the sky during the earlier part of our morning drive. The other thing thing I need to master is to improve my driving skills technique. Granted it is early days, but the FC is like sub 7km/litres :(

Me too switch to XT from Altis 2008 (still very good condition) im getting the hang of it driving the XT. Getting in n out of the car while parking or stopping by the side of the road (nobody quiet area) to gauge the clearance. Not use to the bird eye view assist parking. Only look at it HU cam screen to test out the actual blind spot area cause after i read the manual completely. It stated there are area which the cam couldnt capture. (Putting my cigarette boxes..to test it out ^_^") As for the FC will improve after 1k servicing. If u read the older post from this thread. Not to worry. Im still at 4.1km/l... @.@" I like ur family naming it "Red Rhino" Maybe will call mine "Blue Buffalo" Edited July 6, 2016 by BernardOng
czsquare Neutral Newbie July 6, 2016 Share July 6, 2016 Xtrail FC so jialat? In modern day n age. Below 10kmliter is seriously bad Haha, agreed, but this is after all an SUV. FC may probably improve after engine run-in, but I know I can't expect it to be on par with a 1.6L sedan. Going thru past postings, it seemed fc amongst fellow X-trailers also vary, some achieving double digit Km/l, and some just below.

No doubt, our former rides were unassuming but ever-reliable workhorses. Still, moving onward, we will surely both enjoy the journey ahead with our new rides! I thought we might already have a Whatsapp group for XTrailers. Probably gonna go through the pages and find who we can PM to join the club

Going thru past postings, it seemed fc amongst fellow X-trailers also vary, some achieving double digit Km/l, and some just below. FC depend a lot on your driving style / pattern, like are you a heavy footer..and also the route you use?...highway or city drive. for me at 60% highway and 40% city road, I can achieve about 10.2km/l on average.
