Mazda 5 - requesting owners feedback

Thinking to sell my 5 years old Mazda 5 and change car due to low COE, what models will you consider for mazda 5 upgrade?

Haven't heard of this before but i don't rule out the possibility since cars are relying mostly on electronics to function. I'll take note of this. Thanks for the updates.

Depending on conti or jap. An upgrade would be the Honda Odyssey but I'm turned off by CVT gearboxes. Then we have the Toyotas (estima, previa, vellfire, Alphard), i would like to own the VW sharan after test driving it and all rows of seats are comfortable and the boot space is sufficient for me, not to mention its power on the road.

Agree with you on the CVT. That's one of the reasons why I went for Mazda5 during then. It's a sad state of affair for mid size MPV buyers in SG looking at the available offerings. Meanwhile, I'd go test drive Nissan Serena e-Power.

Agree with you on the CVT. 

I have tested drive Renault Grand Scenic, good performance, quiet, good FC and many new techs included. but the downsides are no auto sliding doors, many bad reviews on reliabilities and maintenance cost

Just trade-in my Mazda 5 for my new ride over the weekend. 

time to let these accessories before the AD scrap or export the car.

Just like to check whether anyone have any tips / experience on changing front shock absorbers for Mazda 5 2015 model. I have a few workshop quoting diff price range btwn $500-600 all in for original parts. OEM much cheaper but some say might not be compatible. Pls advice. Thanks !

Probably worthless when you want to sell or trade in, scrap value + maybe a few hundreds

I used oem shocks on all 4.

 

brand KYB. Oem shocks tend to be harder. You might lose some ride comfort. So if you wish to maintain it, you should go for the original one

I change them at SKM Motorworks at kaki bukit

Where is a reasonable price experienced workshop for 60k servicing which include fuel filter replacement?

Anyone forgo doing the fuel filter replacement at 60k? Never have I experienced changing the fuel filter at a lowly 60k milage.
