Except for the stabbed victim, yes it's a good conclusion. Two naughty fellows removed from the school system thus saving educators many headaches...!

 

not sure if this is a social problem, but teachers are motivated to produce results ie. top students, accolades, but not many focus on steering wayward kids towards the right path. just my 2 cents.

I think the teachers' KPI is only on student performance/grades and not conduct, hence the problem. Then again, conduct is more difficult to measure.

hence, bonding with ur kids when they are young is very important. This way, they will share stuff with you as they grow up. If a parent only tries to actively engage a child when he/she gets into trouble during teenage years, its often a tad late & the relationship may instead turn adversarial.
