QQDreamer 4th Gear August 29, 2018 Share August 29, 2018 ARF sensor is air-fuel sensor? Can these sensors be serviced, or just replaced? you can try serviced. but if you googled, they say recommended to replace them as these sensors have lifespan which is about 100K? normally if you want to service and you see those stubborn carbon deposits gunk on the sensors it is mostly impossible to do a through service or clean. i have read people dipping the sensor into acids and use sandpapers to clean off. but this procedure takes alot of time. Tcs522 Neutral Newbie August 29, 2018 Share August 29, 2018 RPM idling stable? probably can clean your PCV valve, MAF sensor and also MAP sensor. Oh ya our stream O2 and ARF sensors have lifespan of 100K. When these 2 sensors are worn it cause high FC. those that keen to know more about your stream about issues, maintenance and repair can ask me. knowledge is power. Thanks Sifu for sharing knowledge.Check with workshop they said if O2 and ARF sensors spoilt the engine light will flash and hard to start in the morning.Mine so far do not have this sign. RPM idling stable.Mileage about 110k 350km from a full tank? Mine even with half city traffic, I was still averaging 9.5km/l (about 500km until warning light) and I thought that was low... is your right foot heavy? Then again, even with a heavy foot it can't be that bad. You really might want to have it checked out at a workshop experienced with Hondas... Used to be heavy footed but since fuel consumption so high...adjusted driving style I used to get 450 to 500km too

YorYor 1st Gear August 29, 2018 Share August 29, 2018 Yours is already pretty good. My typical is about 50% expressway 50% normal roads (in terms of distance) but closer to 30% expressway 70% normal roads (in terms of time spent per trip, e.g. 30mins journey from start-end, 10mins on expressway, other 20 on roads), and I'm averaging 10+km/l. On 16".

Kenopt2 1st Gear August 30, 2018 Share August 30, 2018 Good forum. Passionate stream owners. Recently "D" blink. My regular mechanic use programmer and experience, no conclusion but ask me to refurbish my gearbox.... So went to ubi honda service centre. Couple of hours there, changed pressure switch. And clean another. $80 scan, $55 switch change. 2008 normal stream. 2nd owner. Took over on 5th year at 98,000 km. Bought from KM. Very good car. Tough and quiet. From start till now, 193,000 km. 10.2 km/l. Didn't measure per trip.
Kenopt2 1st Gear August 30, 2018 Share August 30, 2018 Engine mounting done. Moving on to suspension. Next item most likely control arms. Need to know what bushing is needed to replace for the rest of the undercarriage. Doing all these wear and tear 1 step at a time with budget to set aside each month or 2 for the long haul. Renew COE car comes with its set of issues to tackle. :)I sent my '08 KM normal stream to spark, in comfortdegro, for free Coe renewal evaluation. They quite $3k plus. Refurbish gearbox, changing brake pads were not mentioned. Took me 1 week to chase after the quote. Still don't know to trust them or not.

Kenopt2 1st Gear August 30, 2018 Share August 30, 2018 No choice. Need problem solve. Just pay since outside mechanic cannot. KM Thomson SVC centre said the same thing. Scan only $80. But not free. Must keep car over night... So I went ubi honda. ↡ Advertisement
