Hi all, it should be possible to setup these locations in the GPS as POI and include warning much like speedcam warning alert and it's definitely more practical, right?

I managed to get hold of the carplus hk mag where they did a group comparison of Stepwgn, Noah, Serena and the Biante. Very extensive and informative, will try to scan some key info.

 

Performance for 0-70, 0-100, the Serena is the best as it has the best torque. Stepwgn has the most responsive performance for overtaking due to high torque available at lower rpm.

 

Space wise, Serena again wins with Biante and Noah doing well. Stepwgn has best legroom but generally poorest width. Boot storage is best with Noah.

 

Fuel efficiency wise is a virtual tie with Serena, Noah and Stepwgn, Biante is very slightly poorer.

 

Serena voted the most comfortable for 7/8 pax, Noah generally did well in almost all categories, Stepwgn best driving response for daily and Biante was the cheapest to own based on hk pricing.

 

When all 4 owners were given a choice to decide which ride they'd buy again after trying the rest, Noah and Stepwgn had 2.5 votes each, even from the Biante and Serena owners. Serena overall probably emerged the best in most catergories but all the boxy wagons were really closely matched.

 

Also interesting was that the best selling car in hk for that mth was Alphard followed by Stepwgn and Noah. They really love their MPVs in Hong Kong!

 

Wow, good comparison. Is there any online version huh? It would really be good if they're comparing 27 MPVs… 

 

Alphard… Richburg was selling 2015 model at 170k, neg. But too big for me...

I have been told that the car suppose to arrive in mid oct, mid oct i called then it become end oct, end oct called become mid nov, today i called it become next month. I dont know when am i collecting my car...

Contract says 6 bid guarantee COE. PI says cos the car is not here yet so haven't bid. Will bid when car is here. Seriously I don't know what are they waiting for. Last Coe bidding was 57k if they bid they will earn more also what. Why need to wait for car to arrive. Very fishy... If straight away tell me car arriving Jan 16 I'm ok with that I'll wait. But told me Oct, nov, now become Dec. giving ppl false hope & that's really annoying.

 

I did saw their showroom purple 8 seaters and white arrived. But don't know when was the order made... So I just hope mine will be here eventually.

I bidded for my own COE, and validity is 6 months. If your PI bidded, its validity is the same.

 

1 month 2 shipments of cars, it takes approximately 1 week to clear port and the rest is just waiting for LTA inspections, which takes typically 2 months on the average depending on the season.

So to answer your question, its about 3 months before you see the car.

3 months is count from the day the PI order the car from their counterpart in Japan? or from the day it reach the port?

 

Anyone has any idea after the order is made, how long does it take to ship here? Is it in terms of 2-4 weeks or months?
