7hm Turbocharged May 7, 2015 Share May 7, 2015 (edited) I'm looking to get together a list of 5-door sedans, with liftbacks - that is to say, with boots that are hinged at the rear roof for a larger load-bay. I'm looking to find all these kinds of cars as they're my preferred body style. They don't have to be fastbacks, explicitly, but a traditional sedan with a boot hinged below the rear window doesn't count. These are what I've found so far available (or, in Skoda's case, were available) and reasonably current: Audi A5 Sportback A7 Sportback BMW 3-Series GT (Gran Turismo) 5-Series GT (Gran Turismo) 4-Series GranCoupe 6-Series GranCoupe X4 X6 Ford Mondeo (hatchback) Honda Insight Mazda Atenza/6 Hatchback (N/A here actually...) Mercedes-Benz GLE-Class Coupe (okay, it's not out yet but it seems like it's around the corner) Porsche Panamera Skoda Octavia Superb Toyota Prius Can anyone contribute more to this list? There don't seem to be very many, especially from the east. Edited May 7, 2015 by 7hm ↡ Advertisement

Nissan833 5th Gear May 7, 2015 Share May 7, 2015 Mazda 3 hatchback is really small at the boot area as well as opening access, if space and ease of entry is your consideration. I like the A5 and A7 although both are outgoing models, more so for the A5. Another commendable choice is the Panamera. The boot is really big. But price may be a concern for some (it is for me). As for BMW, don't like the GT designs.. but love the new X4. Good balance of space and smart, handsome design.

Well, the Mazda 3 hatchback doesn't really count in this case since it's still a two-box...

Also seems I can't edit the first post list anymore... is that normal? ↡ Advertisement
