wow...just heard a friend signed the papers with MI today for the FXT at $120,800 non-guaranteed COE...got freebies somemore, & SE target to register car latest by end Jan...looks like the facelift is coming very soon & MI's clearing stock...but it's still a good price at $120,800...

3 different SEs gave 3 different versions of when will new Forester be arriving ....Jan, March & Sep. The one that said Jan mentioned it will likely be unveiled at upcoming Motorshow.

Mine about 13km/l too

That is amazing!!!  [sweatdrop]   :a-m1212:

13km/l for a 2,000cc, >1600kg AWD SUV.

Puts some 1600cc FWD Japanese cars to great shame!

Can you share with us how you  achieve such miraculous fuel consumption?

Model - Forester 2.0i-L or 2.0XT turbo?

Tyres - Did you downsize to narrower tyres?

Brand of Fuel pumped & octane?

% city / highway driving?

No. of passengers in car?

When accelerating, rev to how many rpm?

Current mileage?

Personal view, sept not likely. Cos jp already making the new facelift, extended manufacturing of the old model might not make economic sense. Then again they may be using up the old parts. I hope its by 1/2 half of the year.

As of 5pm just now over at LengKee MI showroom, I was told that the premium version is out-of-stock and the XT has only 2 colours available. Price tagged @ $124800. Sales guy also hinted that the 2016 model should appear first in the upcoming showroom but did not reveal any pricing.

Funny thing is that he said only different is the projector head light as the one on the current Outback.

Was there with my friend who is interested in the Lervog. Nice drive with adequate torque as commented by my friend. A bit pissed off by the bo-chap attitude sales guy so decided to throw his money elsewhere.

May I ask what the 2 colors for the XT are?

Thanks

I'm inclined to believe the SE that said Jan 2016, especially during the Motorshow

Probably Jan 2017 at motor show but 1st deliveries in March. Sep2017 is a little late.

Quite some changes.besides new lights. New colors, recalibrated transmission. Thicker glass. Better insulation. Foam filled structures. New rims. For me I'm waiting for the driver side memory seats.

The air con temp has to set below 21 degree to prevent the ârecirulateâ vent from opening once the temp reach around 24~25 degree programmed under factory setting. Not a problem but its irritating. Dunno if they will do anything about this.

For the current Forester, its 22.5. This feature is here to stay and its spreading to other brands too.

Actually what is the rational? If above 22.5 then the outside smoke and smell will come in? Edited by evo171

Even if unlikely to have Eyesight3, should still have torque vectoring for FXT, active headlight and better NVH levels.

Hi,

Model is 2015 legacy 2.5, as a bro was asking for outback/legacy fc earlier.

All stock

Shell 98

30/70

Usually 1-2 pax

3k rpm from traffic light

Mileage reaching 5000km

It checks the outside temperature vs cabin temp. If outside is less than 22.5 it will allow outside air to circulate since its cooler than set temp. Its ideal for seasonal countries However in dense tropical city like SG it means we smell outside fumes.

Think you mean 2016 :-)

Initially, I too was waiting for new FXT and the memory seat was one of the key attractions besides the supposedly quieter and better ride. But I am not sure if MI will bring in the memory seat as they always try to keep the OMV low.

But now with Outback only $1k more than FXT, I am also considering this option.

since the current XT already comes with electric powered driver's seat, I don't think it's a stretch to offer memory functions.

Similar to the current legacy they are offering, only electric powered seat but no memory functions, which I would think is pretty pointless and incomplete.

Might as well they give us the manual seat adjustment and reduce further in the cost.
