Can you bring your own oil, filters and parts to MI for servicing after the 3 free servicing and pay for labour only?

 

I already asked. They don't rebate you for the oil even if you bring own engine oil.

My next servicing is 20k. Also considering to go outside pro subaru workshop.

5 years right...

 

Havent read up on the so called pro subaru shops, but looking at the 2 year/40k km package, I dont mind sticking with MI after the 5 years.

 

The main reason for me to stay away from MI is the engine oil they used.

Yup. And they even wanted me to sign an indemnity form protecting them from all engine oil-related liabilities if I bring my own oil. So I said thanks but no thanks. Yet another reason not to return to MI for servicing after 10k.

Same here bro. Almost identical driving pattern as you. Average stays at 13L+/100km.

City driving 8-10L/100km? Think got to double check those figures bro..way too good.

I can get 6.2L/100km when full tank on expressway.

Can advise where to get 100 Octane petrol? I thought here highest is 98 Octane.

Hi All...just got my FXT couple of weeks back & there is this annoying rattling/squeaky sound seems to be coming from the rear...either boot or rear seats which I just can't pinpoint after googling. Folded seats down n up, checked seat belt on roof, any shaky plastic parts in boot area all taped down, styrofoam boards covering spare wheels examined...still can't rid the sound! Super annoying n MI can't resolve it during my 1st servicing. Heard it could be the rear seat as it's locally installed. Anyone had the same problem n managed to settle it? Pls advise...thanks much! Can WhatsApp me at 90303299!

Hi, suggest u inspect the spare tyre compartment. Was told during the new driver's workshop that the sound could be coming from the car jack rattling against the sides.

Imho, if you aren't in a hurry, you can wait it out.

 

For my case I signed for FNA 8 NG when Coe was about 45k. The first bid they bidded 47k when it closed at 49k. The next bid they bidded 53k and I got it at 51k...

 

Finally, the long wait and I secured my COE at the recent bidding!! Does anyone has the checklist for things to look out for during the car collection. Let me apologize first if this topic has been discussed before.

I am one of those guys who signed for FNA 8 bid ng during end May. Finally secured my COE in the recent bidding. I was approached to top up 3K, but did not do so as I am not in a hurry to get car. It was lucky to secure the COE on the 6th bid..

This is good for you. 

You are getting the car a lower price with a higher COE.

I'm not that lucky.. MI bid the same amount for my last 5 bids

So if MI fails to get you the car within the next 2 bids, would you have to top up? or they will refund you the deposit?

MI will have to refund my deposit if I opt not to top up after 8 bids.

May be my SE too many orders on hand and I'm least priority to her as I booked during end may.

Check the retractable cover for the boot. May be loose

What's the difference for black edition? Anything special? I can't seem to find anything abt it online
