No letter so far. Ya don't get FXT.. CG high laStrangely even though high cg, it can still handle bends and corners pretty well compared to a lot of sedans out there. I have to admit I'm not a patient driver with my fxt lol. I can't stand road hoggers.

BrandonTan 1st Gear August 13, 2016 Share August 13, 2016 Which is your car model? Facelifted or pre-FL? Should say mine is mid facelift. Collected on last September, HU is touch screen and antenna is fin type but head lamp and interior finishing is pre FL.

I can't stand road hoggers. With the low CG of the boxer engine, the overall CG of the FXT may not be that much higher than normal sedan - so is actually quite good. Plus the FXT suspension is generally better than bread and butter cars. Plus the AWD let you acceclerate out of a turn in a more stable manner than FWD drive cars. (For slowing down into a turn, AWD may not help much except perhaps you can use engine braking to 4 wheels to have similar effect as using brakes - but otherwise, if braking into a turn, all cars got 4 brakes but FXT's brakes are also generally better than most bread and butter cars). Plus FXT has torque vectoring so the computer will apply different brake force between inner and outer wheels to help make the turning more effective. Some other cars may not have. Having said that, always drive within the capabilities of the car. Edited August 14, 2016 by jg2000

Having said that, always drive within the capabilities of the car. with all the good engineering built into the car by Subaru, its always a joy to drive my fxt. :) The mediocre bridgestones stock tires do no justice to its handling, but yet the car is already more than capable enoughThe sucky shell helix oil is also not optimizing all the power but its good enough since no need to top up money for it. A lot of drivers out there still thinks that the fxt is just a big bulky and wobbly giant. I still get some jokers once a while trying to outrun and overtake me for their pleasures.. Only this morning around 7+am I was exiting sle to amk ave 1, some joker driving the new Carens 1.7 diesel tried to tail gate me and overtake me. Seriously, these jokers. but the new Carens has very good low end torque, can see the initial pick up was really fast. I lower down my window and could hear that guy rev the nuts of his turbodiesel engine. Wa, really loud! Power!
