Pocus Turbocharged October 24, 2015 Share October 24, 2015 (edited) Hi Bros, I'm driving a white FTX. Just realised that the dashboard (at the front passenger side) has a rectangle shape popping out (Refer to the pix). Not sure if is normal for all FTX? or i'm the only one with this defect. Anyone having the same issue? Thanks! 20151023_195413.jpg It's the airbag bulge. Please do not put anything on/around it. Ewennst 1st Gear October 24, 2015 Share October 24, 2015 (edited) I am driving the "cheaper" version. FC is about 9L/100km for 3 tanks. 60 to 70% Highway. Accessories is almost the same, except no power rear gate, no nicer alloy rims, no S# mode. Handling is excellence since I came from a 1.6L NA car. More like to cater to crowd who have no interest in higher hp torque, auto tailgate etc. my bro in law gotten the premium version as he really have no needs for those frills. The money saved from the car price, FC, interest rates etc probably can last him few years of pumping petrol. To each his own! But haha any bro with tips on suitable Paint protection system? Anyone heard of this brand pika pika?

Anyone heard of this brand pika pika? Exactly. That's why I go for the non-turbo version. I have bought Pika Pika Rain Premium to DIY but yet to apply as still waiting for car. First time self applying glass coating but I think it's not too difficult as I love to DIY whenever possible. If you apply pika pika by the authorized professional, the glass coating has a 5 years durability and only available to them. DIY pika pika has 3 years durability. Weezersg 3rd Gear October 25, 2015 Share October 25, 2015 I diy pika pika on my white car, very easy and fast. Now very easy to maintain, any stain or smudge just wipe. I only apply pika pika after 2 months collecting car as deliberating going to professional polishing. This pika pika diy save money and time going to workshop. The first time going to car wash after applying pika pika, the guy drying my car said ...wow did you polish your car recently...coz very shiny ...first time a car wash person comment even though previous car also ever have grooming done proffesionally but never commented on. I just hope can last 2 years I will be happy, coz not ex and easy and fast to apply.

Goman888 1st Gear October 29, 2015 Share October 29, 2015 Yesterday first time park my forester under the hot sun from 9am ton12pm. The solar film installed by MI as part of the freebies doesn't seem to reduce heat at all. Not sure any bros has the same experience
Yess24 Neutral Newbie October 29, 2015 Share October 29, 2015 (edited) I park under hot sun everyday.... I use sun shade on the front screen to block direct sun shine to the car... better, not as hot.... u can try that if have no intend to upgrade the film :) Also, install door visor, open up a small gap at the side window.... that help a lot too... More aesthetic than function. Driving on a hot day one would have to dial up the aircon too.
Ayuready 1st Gear October 30, 2015 Share October 30, 2015 Is opening the sun roof a good way to vent the hot air out? Hot air rises. Just my thought
