jg2000 4th Gear December 22, 2015 Share December 22, 2015 I went a workshop to do wheel alignment. The shop chase me away as my mileage only 20k km and i did not hit any major bump. Sometimes, it is factory or local AD alignment not right for the new car and need to do wheel alignment. If under warranty period and tyres were not yet replaced or were done at AD workshop, then should go back to them to ask them to fix the problem (be it alignment, ball joint problem etc). I did but it was that address that came out. Wow thks for the clarification else I will go to the wrong place Google map have errors. It usually takes first marker put in by any google map user as the location of a place, and then it becomes very difficult to tell Google it is wrong place (if that first person put marker wrongly) and need to correct. ↡ Advertisement
Ahgong Supercharged December 22, 2015 Share December 22, 2015 why 3 parties before you knew your problem? does it meant the first 2 specialist does not know what they are doing? I really dislike this unprofessional establishment , when customer drive to your WS for certain problem and as a professional WS should analyze the root caused and advice accordingly , not just simply follow the instruction from Driver (presume that the owner ask for it) At least they should bother to check (for this ball joint issue) it can be discovered very easily by twisting the linked component first two did the alignment, and my ride still swing to the left. only the third guy was able to point out that it was the ball joint that is old, and loose. it does not affect driving, just that you have to live with the veering when driving. and the guy was honest enough to tell me, for the age of my car, change tires is cheaper than going for replacement. and given the veering is not too severe, yeah, i agreed with him and left it as that. given my more than average tire rotation, it is still wayyyy cheaper than a ball joint replacement. ElisaGrace March 11, 2016 Share March 11, 2016 As you have already gone through wheel balancing and wheel alignment process and still the problem is not solved then it may be due to brake issue also. Best way is to visit top rated mechanic of your vehicle make. ↡ Advertisement
