Some pi will classify premium wif sonar to be advance model.

Elegance do comes with sonar too.

I did intro ppl to buy the elegance wif sonar...n also premium wif sonar.. my is premium leather wif sonar..and pi will classify that my model is advance premium.

Later stage I intro a guy who bought a true advance premium. All of the premium leather plus original HU.... 360 degree views...full JBL speakers..

That's the true advance model.

Most Japanese have options...

Bro, been 2 weeks since I installed the Throttle Booster u recommend me.

 

So far so good. Today, I did my 1km servicing @MBM service workshop cos PI ask me go there using my voucher. They have no issue with my installation.

 

Ride has been superb. Am on normal FA9, turbo feel. Easily hit 80-90 km/l in probably less than 8s. Shiok.

 

Did try HA mode, but seem FA mode still best.

 

Now testing put Car on Eco mode. So far ride is good enough if not need to drive aggressively. Haha

 

Last 2 weeks FC seem to be also better than before. 2nd and now on 3rd tank of petrol seem to register better FC even though I turbo drive most of the time. ;)

 

Quite happy for the price of the Booster. Very worth it.

 

Even wife commented slim display and say blue display look good !

You can always install a fm expander.

Available in most car audio shops in sg.

 

The fm expander costs less than $30.

 

For me, its no point to fix it. You can't use their G-book & GPS functions, my ex-car (JDM honda accord) comes with it with integrated headunit. The downside is the weird station display & alot of effort to change the headunit & dashboard cover if ones decided to upgrade it.

 

Each to his own, I would rather get the regular premium version instead of JBL package version. Differences is just only the headunit & 360 camera.

Bro, would like to clarify one thing. Does PCS/ICS comes with factory fitted front and rear sensors? Does your car comes with it?

 

Meaning if the eagle is hidden behind the cover, it means have precrash am i correct?

 

With precrash, does it mean it will include another 2 factory sensors at the front and 4 at the rear? Or it that another option to add?

 

Because Japan calls it radar cruise control inclusive of PCS and ICS.

 

But front and rear sonar is another option which cannot be added together with radar cruise control according to the agent, don't know how true. If by adding PCS/ICS you get all front and rear sensors then it make sense because the radar cruise cruise already come with front and rear sonar so no need to add already.

 

Anyone have any idea?

Hi bro... Sorry. . Wat I meant was premium wif sonar will hv tat pcs as standard..but no 360 degree unless it comes with the original HU

With sonar doesn't mean have 360 degree views.

 

Unless it's with original HU.

 

Yes if wif 360 degree views... can differentiate by looking at the left side mirror.

Pardon me for asking, we can't permanently deactivate the engine stop-start system? Does this mean that we have to deactivate it overtime we start the car?

 

When the engine stops at traffic light junction for instance, does it cut off the air-con as well?

Cant de-activate for good.....

 

Air-con still ON if you use the start/stop function.

But Original HU makes a difference in the looks of your centre console. That's why so many owners installing the Alpine at $3xxx...

 

Why not get the OEM HU and also install the 360 degree views too.... that way, all can be used......lol

Yes bro, you will save on fc too....and get rid of the irritating sluggish feels....

Hi Bro, most with the sonar cruise does comes with pre-crash too. And it does have 4 sensors in the front and rear as well.

 

Unless Pi wanna make more by making it an option and want customers to pay more...

Something to share I have been going around window shopping for the past couple of weeks.

Intend to get a premium advance, if not will just go for the cheapest elegance.

Not in a rush as I am bidding for my own COE.

Been to no less than 8x PI in AML, Sin Ming. Still have 2 PI in mind that I have yet to visit. 

 

1. Almost all PI have difference setups for their elegance and premium models

2. PI that carry Premium advance is limited

3. As I will be bidding for my own COE, surprised that a couple of PI insist to sell car+coe only. Maybe inexperience sales person?

4. Prices differs around $2k - $4k among the PI that I have visited.

5. The freebies are rather standard, HU, window film, tonneau..etc

 

So far only 3x PI leave me with a good impression.

 

Hup Long - very professional, knows their product but alas - they only bring harriers that comes with moon roof.

when I told them I die die wont want any moon roof, they told me there might be extra charges. 

A pity as Hup long is at the top of my list.

 

Zion auto - they have a Dark red mica harrier in their show room  . Very professional, this is the only PI that assures me that I can have whatever options I want, unlike some other PI that gives no choice at all over the optional items. I do feel very comfortable with them as they are the most accommodating 

 

Leco auto - very professional, willing to do indent(options) also.

When I ask xxxcar regarding spare tyre, they even tried to smoke me by telling me nowadays all new cars no more spare tyres liao.

 

Car xxxxx - they can only sell the harrier with the options that they like, not what I like.

 

Axxxx + another PI I forgot the company name -  sell with COE ONLY    maybe due to inexperience sales person - I dont know.
