If Bezza is not Euro6 ready, then what will happen for my last 2 bids that fall on Sept?

I tell you is 50/50 lor

1st 50: LTA give provisions for those already in the process to bid to continue and if bid successful can register the car.

2nd 50: if cannot get coe before Sept then say dealer must withdraw remaining bid and refund you deposit?

So best is go ask your se.

I only need to b&b car. Bezza satisfied all. Cheap, economical, reliable.

In fact it takes the biggest market share in Malaysia speaks a lot.

I do not like car with the tiny spare tire. So Attrage is out.

It also give me a big boots, where I need it when go JB shopping.

However, I know my chance of getting it is slim, as my se can only commit very low coe. Don't ask me how much.....

Bro, I guess its around 40k for your case. If you read my previous post, realistically if you want to secure the COE need to top up around 2k - 3k.

So that means it's hard to secure COE at $68,800 for the Bezza.

Must top up COE by $3K to $71,800?

That's still a good price at below $7K annual depreciation, for a car with a Toyota engine beneath its bonnet

I concur that. 7k depre is much better than renewing COE of any B&B make.

You get new car, stiffer chassis and warranty.

Renewing a COE will setback around 5-6k per year.

Unfortunately, for many, it's about the FACE - they will never want to be seen driving a Malaysian marque, but don't mind paying a hefty premium to be seen in a bread and butter  Japanese marque assembled in Thailand, or a bread and butter  German continental marque assembled in Mexico, Portugal, Poland, South Africa or Spain  [laugh]

I believe the dealer got spare coe. And I am not willing to too up any amount. So it is a game of "who blink first".

Dont give in topping up. Dont let them know that you are desperate for the car. Lol.

So long as got power steering, got aircon, got radio, dont break down easily and fuel consumption good, good enough already. Don't see the need to buy expensive car and got spare cash to set aside for family... I ever heard before ppl buy car then no money to repair power wondows.... :)

More praises need to shift gear up... :)

I believe this "tactic" won't work in this case as the AD already tell you upfront how much(specific amount) they will bid for you...

If they willing to cut a bit of their profit margin, then they can always give me the spare coe which is slightly higher than the agreed coe.

No business because of Brand/Make....

Think if they offer a good bargain and willing to close deal, still able to get business de despite the brand/model. Thought there was once proton wira quite popular here.
