Perodua Bezza

Last night saw a bezza parked downstairs. Probably just visiting and not my Neighbour.

But zhng until very nice. Not over the top rice racer that kind.

Rims seem to be 15", so looks more proportionate

The rear bumper seems a bit lowered. Not sure if that's the facelift

A subtle rear boot lip

When the owner went back and opened his doors, the wing mirrors auto unfold and the headlights and brake lights remained on until his step in closed his car doors.

SG plate so definitely Premium X model. Think those wing mirrors and lights are aftermarket. But looks nice.

Will the modifications void the warranty?

Hmm if I were to buy from perodua, I wouldn't bother with the warranty. And most probably won't be going back to perocom for servicing too. Up north lots of workshops cannot service and maintain perodua easily and cheaply.

But of course that's just my opinion.

Will the modifications void the warranty?

I think depends on what type of modification and where u intend to service ur car in the future.

some say plug and play parts and accessories wont void warranty (as long as no screwing and now drilling involved),

Some say u mod which part, that part of the car's warranty will void. (so i assume not total warranty void)

I personally asked my SE whether if put basic bodykit will void warranty anot (similar to those Gear up type) she say wont, but malaysia side i did came across an official statement from Perodua stating third party bodykit other their Gear up Bodykit will void the warranty.

Perodua Malaysia start their 1st servicing at 5k while over here in SG they ask u to service when u reach ur 1K milage.

Perocom claimed that servicing our bezza up north will void the warranty while the user manual wrote that we can choose to go whichever perodua authorized service center we preferred but recommend to stick with the one which we bought our car from or the one allocated by our SE. However, Perocom offer 5 years / 100,000km warranty while perodua Malaysia only offer 3year/ 50km warranty. (Personally experience sending my kelisa to an authorized service center in JB during the 1st 3 years and they did honor the warranty.)

Conclusion, there is not really a black and white on the warranty, or even there is, they have their own way of interpreting.

They offered 5 x free servicing, so I will only decide after using them up.

Have you gotten your car?

No. My last 2 bid for manual version fell on Sept. So Perocom cancelled the old agreement and offer a new aggreement for auto version at a higher price.

Oh I see. Yeah it does make sense too. But I personally feel need to be careful with what they propose to repair or service. Bad personal experience.

For 1.0L,

- No fog light

- No side indicator on side mirror

- Body colour door handles

Race with one from the lights and you will know.

If you are 10-20m ahead of the Bezza from the get go, it has to be the 1.3 :D

But if you can see the Bezza, distant in your rear view mirror, after just 1-2 seconds, then it is the 1.0 indeed!
