Hi Superb owners, just to check if anyone experience a reduction in the aircon fan speed after driving for long distance? Last week, during my drive up north, towards Malacca, my Superb’s aircon fan speed reduced automatically.. after I turn it off for around 10 mins, and then turn it on again, it works. This happens again on my return trip back to Singapore. Is this normal? If any brothers have similar experience, appreciate if you can share it here. Thanks.

@kohzcm After a series of incidents i experienced at their service centre with my 6 months old car, I went for 1st servicing yesterday. Then they say they accidentally damaged my little blind spot mirror. Aft closing the door the mirror dropped and crack by itself.. 

Byebye mirror.
 

it is the fear of going to skoda svc everytime, adding on to the number of incidents i am encountering with them

whoa ... self destruct .. anyway, at least they own up to their mistakes...

the service level has improve somewhat...your mirror crack is very very very very very mild already...

have u had your airbag blow up in the VW workshop before when u bring the car for servicing ? LOL

During the last month Car at Expo, I only saw the 1.0TSI and the VRS model.

When the mk4 Octavia was first launched in 2021, the 1.5 variant was sold. Then when COE started shooting up around 2022, they changes to 1.0 in early 2023 iirc.

Buying the RS should not expect good FC.

No battles lah.. just expectations must be set correctly.. customers who buy at certain price point have a “gao gao” mentality when it comes to service at the workshop, short of welcoming you with a lion dance ..

if you in the good book of the service advisor, u will be mark as a VVIP customer..
