Try not to bring bashing korea bashing japan.

My take on vios.

Its a nice compact car. I compare this to attrage city and accent bah.

Size wise.

Perhaps vios like mazda 3 and attrage perhaps lost their prestige due to many phv. Its working against new sales of this car no doubt.

I drove a used Kia Forte before, on the 6th, 7th year onward and above 130k km mileage. Things started failing. Fuel guage, steering bushing, vibration, FC creeping up. I don't encounter these on my old Honda with higher mileage. That's why I am abit skeptical on Korean make. I hope they have improved over time.

I have plenty of altis review complaining abt their quality n standard..

Tiagong is indeed a very dangerous thing... Tiagong this stock can make money... Ppl rush in and buy then get burnt... Tiagong coe will go up... Ppl rush to buy then it went down...Tiagong this tiagong that... In the end look up the sky and ask Ti Gong why bad things happen

i see there only 1 feature that Toyota remove it from the E spec is the Day Running Light and the Folded back seat - as this i assume its was a safety feature which almost all other brand of car also include in their car (be it inside the headlight or other area) and Toyota are taking out this feature from the E spec and do not even provide an option for E spec buyer to add it on. This was really a big mistake or thing that they miss out on this Vios.. As other item which is really depend on user preference that you need it or not.

Any new buyers not buying insurance from BM’s AXA and paying the extra $500 BM fee for not buying insurance from them? I’ve just checked and find out Aviva’s standard Insurance is only $1.3k which is more than $500 less than the AXA one......

Should survey and choose. But people with high NCB usually will find not worth it. If difference of full price is 500, with 50% NCB you will find price difference of 250 only.

But there is more in selecting an insurance company. Try others online. I personally had a good experience with DirectAsia.com as they fought and won for me a fraudulence claim and I managed to keep my 55% NCB.

Fraudulent or ballooned claims are rather common in Singapore brokered by some workshops, partly because many insurance are too lenient in handing out claims. Policy holder will get penalized subsequent year with 0 NCB and adjusted high premium.

So, I personally like insurance companies who fight and scrutinize 3rd party claimant when there is a doubtful or ballooned claim.

My 06 vios as well. Good solid work horse.

Wheel bearings change around 60k if remember correctly. Driver window motor as well. Wear and tear due to my frequent trip up north. Air con lead in her last year before scrap. Just need to top up gas every 2 months for thee last year. Nothing major spoiled beside the normal wear and tear.

Thumb up.
