Anyways, if one uses the referral code, there's no $80 rebate for Tuas? Is that right?

Yup. Today is last day for $80 rebate. If want to use referral code, tomorrow then use. But will lose out on the $80 rebate.

Was considering between Tuas power & Geneco. In the end, chose geneco

1, Rebate (78 + 20 with referral) compared to Tuas power (80) for 24 mths contract. 36 months would be $120 for TP but felt it was too long

2, Rates for geneco slightly cheaper than TP $0.002

3. Attractive credit card rebates for geneco payment compared to TP

For those who have not switched from SP, would suggest to take up one of existing retailers (can be either the above or others) that will be lower than SP to obtain cost savings. Besides lower rates (~20%), these retailers have tie-ups with credit card for rebates. For SP, the only one I know of is POSB card 1% cashback maybe??

probably will go for tuas power or geneco. the general concensus here.

novice questions.

1) can I sign up at the road show booth instead of doing it online? not savvy to do it online.

2) if so what are the documents required.

3) the offer and discount same for both road show and online?

4) I see geneco offer free on weekend. I am wondering doing laundry on weekend..haha but seem like no one took up this offer.

5) is it advisable to sign up for a everyday card? 1%? how about citi?

6) my monthly routine is to pay the utility bill at 7-11. can I like wise do the same after switching to new vendor?

thanks in advance.

Went to a booth.. no extra offers and you still need IC, last SP bill etc

So I went home and did it on my PC.

Credit card comes later..

1) recommended to do the sign up online as the rebates are online exclusive.

3) not the same due to online exclusive rebates.

4) I signed up this Sunday free plan, hopefully it’ll work well for me.

5) I would advise on signing up with recurring cc bank payment which entitle you to the $40 rebate.

6) shouldn’t be a problem for bill payment at 7-11.

To be able to save $80 per month means ur monthly bills must be very high.

Me signed the same plan too. Got $80 rebate.

Earliest date of transfer is 20 May 2019.

Thanks @Solar and @zipping for your referral code. Apologies I couldn't get to use it as I opted for the $80 rebate.

No worries bro. They are transparent with their costs. Shouldn't go wrong with them

For 2, for online signup, you need scanned copies of IC front & back. Online not hassle at all, did it in few minutes as instructions were clear, step-by-step. For road show, i guess they will verify the physical IC details

Used to be around $250 , now average about $170. I have been happily paying without knowing there is service fee, is it reflected in the bill ?
