Basic trim, white color. Any one has comment on AXA SmartDrive motor insurance? Seems that they have some partnership with Komoco and this was the insurance offered to me. SE only sent me a brochure so it's hard to compare with my other choice - Aviva.

For me 0% Ncd Axa seems cheaper than ntuc. Maybe next year i compare again. Saw someone post aviva not bad got the nsmen discount.

Yes the SE ran a quick quote and AXA was cheaper than NTUC. But based on the brochure I didn't quite like that I can only go to their workshops. Aviva Motor Prestige is similarly priced, with my own choice of workshop but with 300$ excess (vs zero for AXA), which I think is reasonable.

Sunnywil 1st Gear February 22, 2019 Share February 22, 2019 Temp control is different from air flow force. Some passengers don’t want strong air flow while others want. So air flow control on vents serve that control purpose which Avante strangely doesn’t have When parallel parking at night, sometimes need to adjust the side mirror down to check curb and drain distance when reversing. If other car makers can do it, it’s a deficiency in design in my view I think you guys are misunderstanding what Beanbag means and bashing him unfairly.. From what I read, he is saying the air con vents (the blades) cannot be adjusted to smaller gap or closed totally.. And actually, don't even need to compare with other makes.. if the other buttons can have illumination, why can't they do it for the mirror controls as well? Lala81 Hypersonic February 22, 2019 Share February 22, 2019 Fellow new avante owners - when are you expecting to pick up your ride? I have a problem. I am supposed to go for refresher drives before I start my first car. Haha. you need to book very early in advance one leh. I booked the car in april, my wife started booking refresher at SSDC only got the earliest lessons in late May-early june. I got the car on 1st week of May. In the end had to teach her somethings myself, then let the SSDC handle all the stuff like more road experience including expressways.

But it is so expensive. 90$ per hour. Madness. Once I get used to the distances judging and parking, I'm going to stop. I have no idea why private refresher lessons are so much more expensive than school. It was the reverse for new learners. I checked online and most private refreshers are around $70/hr at least.
