The usual la.. Anytime I go to Penjuru or for that matter any car servicing place, it always takes a couple of hours at least. I have never left the place earlier than that. 😅

I went for my 10K servicing to Penjuru last Saturday morning. Took about 3 hours... No one told me anything about any recalls though. My car will be exactly 1 year old in about 2 weeks time...

How long will the first 1k servicing take? Was told by SE that no oil change will be done, only routine checks.

And i need the nav maps updated.

Still have other cars ma. After the SA go through the car it might take awhile before its bring driven in. Then have to wait for the car to cool down and also a technician to have the 'time' to go through the 'checks' leh. Then technician hand in the 'paperwork' to SA. Then the time taken for your car to be driven to wash. Then the time the SA go through the 'paperwork'. Then the time it takes for the SA to pass the 'paperwork' t the cashier. Then the time the cashier calls you or your number to collect the car leh.

Hi all, just collect my car end of Feb. My consumption for the 1st tank is about 11.4km/l. about 70% city driving and 30% highway.

Do we usually need a few top up to get a more accurate consumption?

thanks!

For me, I would say it took 5 or 6 top-ups, if not longer, to get to my current fuel consumption...for reference I pump at Esso, their 7000 fuel and my mileage is about 13.5km/l.. if I drive more on expressways over the weekend, then it will go upto 13.6 for a few days after... but then back to normal home to work driving, it goes back to 13.5...

I realise the FC computation if i drive short distance, the FE is always super low. And then it brings down the historical average.

So I also always very confused what's my actual fuel consumption is like.

Are you planning to calculate it manually?

Short distance confirm is bad for FC. Many start stop which consumes a lot of petrol. To get good FC is not to slowly drive but to get to the cruising speed asap. You can just rev till you get to like 90km/h and traveling at 2k rpm.
