Tried Vietnam rice once.  Less sticky means less starch; healthier, IMO.

For most pple, less sticky means less palatable. Can try serving with stew (the gravy will make it more palatable), as fried rice, chicken rice, savoury mix (cabbage, yam, long beans)  or claypot rice.  These dishes calls for less sticky rice.

parents and grandparents time more daily movement and activity. so the rice is burned off.

nowadays people complain at having to walk an extra 20m - 30m to get to a bus stop or pedestrian crossing.

Yes white rice is very bad for you.

That's why I only eat black rice with yam.

Yam is good for you so put a bit of yam

and add a lot of nice think black sauce so it turns brown.

Wifey keeps telling me to eat brown rice.

Well it looks brown to me.

You all see brown right?

:D

I am not an expert on white rice I never eat it

but I think the longer the grain the less sticky it is.

I notice all sticky rice tend to be short grain.

:D

If you want less sticky sticky long is good.
