Maybe no china tourist go to taiwan, but still quite a lot from other countries, esp i know many sporeans love going to taiwan. Lol.

Sg think depend mainly on china tourist, if no china tourist come to sg, you see our tourism is dead. The china tour group is simply too big. If they cannot come, we will be dead.

Taiwan isnt like japan which is visited by many tourists all over the world. Of course taiwan is popular among singaporean but not in the west, not in india as well.

last year alone a small city state sg able to attract 20m international tourists meanwhile taiwan only 11m tourists

Turbocharged

Looks like Taiwan only looking at opening up with China at the moment. Maybe OYK can wave to them, [wave] showing SG is also a good candidate for travel bubble.

One question

Using the Safe Entry

If I forgotten to check out, I just close the browser.

Now using the Trace together app.... I forgotten to check out from a restaurant after dinner......

Then only check out almost a day later.....

Still have to check out bcos the App cannot just close like browser.

Trace Together will assume I have stay overnight, had breakfast and lunch there?

Despite huge number of cases, contact tracing didn't stop.

Malaysia never had more daily cases than us.

Contact tracing only works if there's a manageable number of infections - if things gets out of hand, for whatever reason, contact tracing just becomes infeasible. Only way we got control over the initial 1000s of daily cases in our dorms were by locking the foreign workers up for +4 mths.

We locked down w/the CB because contact tracing couldn't keep up.

Previously, checkout was done automatically at 12am.

Now, nvr checkout means never checkout.

If this is true, why isnt there wider publicity on this?

Edit.  I emailed them to ask for more info.  If I get them, I will screen shot their reply here.

I am surprised that you don’t know.

In places that does not allow any device with radio wave, TT token also cannot be taken into those places.

That is what it meant

Personal information from 1.1 million RedMart accounts was stolen from e-commerce platform Lazada and sold online in a data breach.

A Lazada spokesperson confirmed this on Friday (Oct 30).

I am very sure our government database safety protocol is much better than those e commerce website.
