As expected, it was wholesale changes, thus play was disjointed at times.

Norwich was very poor not that we were good imo. The scoreline flattered us. 

Positive aspects we gave debutant to some kids and game times for taki, Origi etc first team squad.

Just hope Naby will be fit for the weekend. At this rate, the shortage of numbers may well happen in the midfield..  Milner is also down with flu.  If these players do not recover, we may only have Hendro, Fabinho, Jones, Ox to play this Sat.  Beginning to miss the  dependable Gini?   

Taki scored twice which will stake his challenge in the first team. Origi scored a textbook header, probably the 1st header we scored all season.  He is probably our only real physical presence in the forward line, so I was glad he stayed.

Only watched the first half, im bit concern about Ox. He dosent seem to be stepping up. Performed pretty normal in the first half with a few missed place pass that could be more costly in another day.

Brentford, our next opponent put 7 goals past Oldham last nite.  their strikers must be super high now on form. 

Our entire back 4 has a bit of rest except for Robertson who came on for 30min.  Expect VVD, Matip and Trent to start this weekend.
