  1. Dear Fellow Reds, Nearly a year ago, I started the 2018/19, wishing that Klopp powers us to greater heights. That was achieved when we bring back number 6. But I think a lot of us is wishing for him to end the 30 year wait. So this time round, for season 2019/2020, it shall be our dream. YNWA.

  5. Starting a new thread, cos can't wait for new season to start, w/o BR ! Anyone still supporting BR? On what grounds can we still support BR? I have never seen our Pool lost 6-1 to such a team called Stoke? If this isn't called humiliation, I don't know what to say? FSG, can you see what happen? Time to say bye bye to BR... Pls, I don't want to see us relegated next season! Looking forward to pre-season, with sacking of BR first and foremost ....

  18. Feb 9, 2011 Keeper Pepe Reina hints at Liverpool exit LONDON - THE next jersey to be burnt at Merseyside could well belong to Liverpool goalkeeper Jose Reina. The Spaniard, who has been justifying the contentious 50 million pounds (S$102.5 million) defection of compatriot Fernando Torres to Chelsea, has hinted he might follow suit. 'I won't lie - I want to play in the Champions League,' Reina told Spanish radio station Onda Cero, echoing Torres' reason for quitting Anfield. Should he leave Liverpool, a move to Spain would appear unlikely with neither Real Madrid nor Barcelona looking for a goalkeeper. Which leaves him with a transfer to a rival Premier League club. 'It's hard to see me returning to Spain. But at Manchester United, Edwin van der Sar is hanging up his gloves and people say that Arsenal are looking. ' I can't do or say anything; I renewed my contract with Liverpool last year. 'But what a player wants to do in his career is to challenge for titles.' Although he was reminded that he has won an FA Cup with Liverpool, his response will not leave Reds fans optimistic that they will be able to hang on to one of the league's top goalkeepers.

    ROY HODGSON LEFT LIVERPOOL!

GOOD BYE ROY HODGSON!! Roy Hodgson and Liverpool part company Hodgson had only managed one away win in the league this season Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson has left the club by mutual consent. Hodgson, 63, had won only seven of their 20 Premier League games since he took over from Rafael Benitez in July 2010 with the club 12th in the table. Former player and manager Kenny Dalglish has been placed in charge until the rest of the season. "Both parties thought it in the best interests of the club that he stand down," said American owner John Henry in a statement on the club's website. Hodgson refused to answer questions on his future at Anfield following Liverpool's 3-1 defeat by Blackburn on Wednesday, the club's third defeat in four Premier League games. And when his press conference ahead of Liverpool's FA Cup third-round match against Manchester United on Sunday was cancelled on Friday, it fuelled further speculation that the former Fulham manager's tenure was drawing to a close. "I have, however, found the last few months some of the most challenging of my career," read a statement from Hodgson on the club's website. "I am very sad not to have been able to put my stamp on the squad, to be given the time to bring new players into the club in this transfer window and to have been able to be part of the rebuilding process at Liverpool." More to follow. bye bye!
  22. Liverpool down 0-2 at HT against blackpool as I write. Will the manager be next to be sacked? who will replace him?
