Beating the red light hack – Is this right or wrong?

I also saw a car before beat red light by inching forward. It seems that the red light camera doesn’t trigger if you inch? Is this true? 
 

More than half of the car body is beyond the stop sign and he just inch forward all the time.

Or is it because the driver inch to the road not covered by the road sensors?

I've done it before. If really sai coming out or rushing to settle the last rites. 

Just do it further up lah.... 

Turn left and drive to next carpark entrance or make sure clear of any cyclist, motorists and pedestrians...... 

Just don't hurt anyone in the process. 

Then do u turn or 3 point turn and keep going. 

Get caught then pay up and get demerit points lah.

There's another one at Upper Thomson Rd (northbound). At red light, they turn left into Venus Rd, make an illegal U-turn and back out into Upp Thomson Rd going north.

Yeah, very clever, bypass the red light. But I think LTA now put concrete block in the centre divider at Venus Rd, so the illegal U-turn is more difficult.  Have to drive very far in.

The road to yishun vehicle park also like that. Then TP put an additional traffic light there to try to stop them

but I still see people doing it cos no red light camera. I think need to combo with camera so those who still do this stunt can have their candid camera moment

train yourself always to stop at red light after you got your license

after 5 years stopping at red lights becomes muscle memory

Nothing wrong at all as long as no traffic rules are actually broken. For example, if you enter and exit a slip road to bypass a red light, that's fine. 

If you actually break some rules (e.g. drive against traffic, illegal U-turn), just follow the SAF classified core value. Difficult with all the eat too full, no sh*t wankers prowling the roads and posting on Vaginante nowadays.

I've done this before too, especially at junctions where i know the red light is super long.
