If they start selling Fentynal which is USDA approved drugs, or tax US ships through its territorial canal, US will come down hard on them... Two guarantor nations supported Ukraine, but half hearted and weak political will to see it thru. And one literally go against the guarantor role and attack them after receiving all their nuclear and missile arsenals. If there was no balance of power post WWII? Would US still be this benign power? We can look at US post collapse of the iron curtain during bush administration for example. Extracting resources from conquered iraq, libya and syria, poisoning their seas, air and soil, while pushing for green efforts within continental US, and blaming everyone else for not being Green or not putting in sufficient effort.
