But i still find the main bus service still overcrowded during the peak hours la even with these short trip service and supplementary service for certain bus service. Then for bus service without these short trip service and supplementary service, confirmed jam packed like hell. I always think in order to solve overcrowding on buses during peak hours, only two things can do. Shorter bus frequency and deploy only double decks. CSO will take over the train if it breakdown. That's why NEL/DTL recovery is usually faster than Circle Line. I did ask around, ppl told me they dont want to spend $120/month for taking public transport, actually they dont even spend near to that amount hence they are unwilling to over-pay or over-spend to get the adult fare card. It doesnt make sense to them. Nothing is perfect or no mode of transport is perfect, taking bus doesnt guarantee you dont end up sweating cos you still have to do some walking to reach your destination. Usually bus service would circle several neighbourhoods before reach city, to maximise the bus mah. Difficult to find normal route bus no need to circle several neighbourhoods befoe reaching city or MRT.
