Above is the reason I am not touching EVs in foreseeable future. Is not about autonomous driving but the batteries! The car in the accident is the latest model and supposedly fulfill the safety requirement of batteries not combustible within 5min of impact, but definitely failing miserably. I do not like to keep mentally rehearsing escape procedure when driving my car in case of accident, too xtressful already. At least not with Chinese EVs.

That Alphard is top of the line, Executive Lounge.

It is selling at SG$70+k in Japan
