You could be dressed decked in gold and jewellery in East Harlem and also be robbed and killed.

Its about dressing right for the environment and understand its constrains.

If you zoom out to a higher level, many of the criticisms of other cultures is due to our lack of exposure and understanding, no doubt there are varying levels of discomfort to conform.

I can't imagine you going to a place of worship in bikini, pee on the dais and get away under the guise of freedom and democracy

No more soft micros or teams or US data centre.

In case my BFF wants to spy on them!

Wow its a trillion euro opportunity for EU IT companies!

If the F35 got got kill switch then why not US software or data centers?

And just like that, this stable genius can learn any language with a snap of his finger.

He can also go to Iran, and be their President. Farsi ? No sweat, it's easy to master. 😅

Why TDept of Justice doesn;t want het to testify? Afraid that she might take revenge for her sacking and reveal more?

Epstein: Pam Bondi escapes her congressional hearing

A subpoena that falls flat after a surprise dismissal

Thursday, April 9 — The U.S. Department of Justice has announced that Pam Bondi will not testify before the House Oversight Committee next week regarding the Jeffrey Epstein files. The reason given: the former attorney general no longer holds her position following her dismissal by President Donald Trump.

Bondi had been formally summoned to answer questions about possible "mismanagement" of the Justice Department's investigation into the late convicted sex offender. But the department informed the committee that the scheduled April 14 deposition could not take place, as Bondi had been "subpoenaed in her capacity as Attorney General," according to a committee spokesperson confirmed to the BBC.

Her dismissal by Trump last week has short-circuited the congressional process.

Lawmakers determined to keep up the pressure

Some members of the committee say they intend to compel Bondi to testify at a later date. Republican Representative Nancy Mace argued that the subpoena retains its full legal force. "The fact that she is no longer attorney general does not erase her obligation to testify and does not end Congressional oversight," she declared.

She urged James Comer, the Republican chairman of the committee, to publicly reaffirm this legal obligation.

Two sides, one shared call for transparency

The bipartisan tone in this case is striking. On the Democratic side, Representative Robert Garcia raised his voice, insisting that Bondi must appear immediately and threatening to launch contempt proceedings if she refused. "She must come in to testify immediately, and if she defies the subpoena, we will begin contempt charges," he wrote in a statement. Bondi, for her part, has made no public comment.

Millions of documents released, but questions persist

The pressure to release the Epstein files transcends party lines. Last November, Trump signed into law legislation passed by Congress compelling the Justice Department to make public all documents related to the Epstein investigations.

After millions of documents were released, the agency faced bipartisan backlash: some lawmakers accused it of failing to adequately protect the identities of survivors, while others alleged it had shielded individuals who were not victims.

A case that reaches the highest levels of power

The committee has already compelled several high-profile figures to testify, including former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Last month, committee chairman James Comer justified Bondi's summons by noting that as attorney general, she was "directly responsible for overseeing the Department's collection, review, and determinations regarding the release of files." Her sudden departure now raises new questions about Congress's ability to shed light on this sensitive case.

While the alphabet madness is sharing signs of dying down in the US, Canada is jumping in head first.
