@jcmm Thx for the feedback. They have since changed to 1.4 engine. Gotto test drive to see if that remains the same.

It is more of a small battery, 1+kwh.

@Mt88  thanks for your updates on Stepwagon from delivery.

how is the air conditioning comparing the stepwagon and voxy? how old was your voxy when you 1st had it?
(toyota aircon tends to be always cold cold, like non-inverter vibe. whereas honda aircon tends to be more on efficiency and not cold cold, like inverter vibe)

did you considered honda freed before honda stepwagon? no doubt honda freed is not in the same class as stepwagon in terms of interior space/utility space/size/comfort.

@itsmemycar Hi. I don't have a problem with AC cooling on Stepwgn and Voxy. I have them both brand new. It is true that Toyota AC is like non inverter especially when set to lowest, but I don't set my AC like that. I normally set between 24-25 degree full auto, auto sync L&R on both car. Both can cool the interior room efficiently. Rear passenger normally set their own preference and can be sync with front if needed. There is a foot warmer outlet for the 3rd row seat on Stepwgn (not in Voxy), it is handy on rainy season, or up in Genting. Frankly, I have not set AC to the lowest on Stepwgn, so I dont know how cold it would be compare to Voxy.

As I mentioned before, I appreciate the expansive interior space (airy and comfy), clever utilities (easy to seat 7 in comfort, easy fold or expand), reliability (lasting, trouble free, no need to upgrade software all the time) and easy drivability (driving dynamic, not too big, not too long and cumbersome). I did not find suitable Chinese EV MPV that suit my requirements although they have better equipment like acoustic glass, panoramic roof etc. I also did not consider Freed nor Sienta, a bit small for my liking. Only look-see out of curiosity.

Here is a comparison between Freed and Sienta (set language to autodub english). Most of reviewers find Honda Freed HEV system is a better drive. I noticed that Freed has auto brake hold like Stepwgn, while Sienta and Noah/voxy need to press every time to activate brake hold during each stop.

Here is the comparison between Stepwgn and Freed

I have not any experience with China EVs durability yet, but youtube reports from China paint horror product durability. Maybe it is not for all models and brands? We shall get more long term report after 6-10 years usage

Perhaps Honda and Toyota still offer reliability? It is an important factor for me especially when traveling with loved ones up North or daily usage. Based on users feedbacks, Honda 2L HEV is among the most reliable engine, as the system has been used extensively from Civic, Accord, CRV, Stepwgn, Prelude, till Odyssey
