I mentioned 'paid parking day' as some CPs are not free parking on Sundays/PH.

That works out to be $150 for a month, still more ex than HDB season parking which is like 90 or 110.

What about the overnight parking at those CBD HDB carparks? Like Chinatown those kind. Still $5?

There are some HDB carparks that don't allow overnight parking. Means strictly season only. My old place was one.

Not sure those in CBD/town is like that or not.

Nowadays many hdb carpark esp all the new BTO don’t have free parking on sun/ph. And no overnight parking or many levels are painted with red lot.

Maybe they are making life difficult for visitors. Lol.

I never parked CBD HDB carparks overnight before. So can't comment on that.

It depends on location. If too central, or near to major shopping mall, it will not be free on Sunday.

Those who know will also know that some central HDBs are also free on Sunday.

Usually New BTO no Free Parking,after 1-2 Years,some will have.

last time my bto also no haf after 1 year. then our fb group add in the mp, kpkb then they reinstated back. lol.

Same. But my bto that time, 6 mth alr "attacked" the MP for free sunday/PH parking. 🤣

The ones at Tampines and Clementi I have seen have. And they are new BTOs by my definition.

Most of Punggol/Sengkang don't have free Sunday parking.

Some newer developments in older/mature estates might still have.

Goodness gracious... 3 weeks ago, they changed from Orange plate (free parking on Sunday and PH) to Red plate (no free parking), last weekend when exiting the car park on Sunday afternoon after overnight parking, I saw the deduction drop back to my normal expectation (before the changes). They just changed back to the Orange plate again!! What are they doing?? earning the extra sunday parking for 2 weekend!

How to monitor until so detail? Like now most parking goes by per min charge if I am not wrong, or some place like JP is min per entry charge, take a picture of the time shown at the gantry upon entry?

Driving life like that is really stressful.

 

@Tianmo I didn't monitor until so precise la, but if every week I park for certain duration and the charges about the same, then suddenly 50% jump of course I will make noise la.....
