I am planning to wait until March 2026 then decide. As of now the contenders are 

1. Aion V
2. SL7
3. MGS6 coming in Jan

If facelift can come in time then sure, that would be a + factor

I like traditional handles, dun like the Tesla ones type

BTW, it is true that MG absorbing the VES and maintaining prices. Jaecoo and Omoda too.

SL7 and aion V is not using traditional handles.

MGS6 should be Cat B car.

If they want to get more sales and sell more cars, then they need to absorb the VES.

Been reading. The BZ4X has the same platform as the Subaru Solterra.

Currently I have an XT, will certainly look at the Solterra when it is in the showroom, although that is Cat B.

Cannot understand why a SUV will not have rear wiper.

China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has recently released the Safety Technical Requirements for Vehicle Door Handles, which has entered the approval stage as a mandatory national (GB) standard. That means GAC will have to re-design the door handles on several of its models (including the Aion V) that are retracted and electrically operated. I.e. it's not mechanical.

The new requirement is intended to ensure doors can be opened during power failures or after collisions. I.e. safe exit for those inside and rescue by first responders from the outside.

The standard, for the first time, classifies that door handles as an independent safety item within the mandatory framework.

I belived all the EV Mfg has up to 2027 to make it back to unconceal handle

Its not concealed handle issue, is electronic lock issue. You can still have mechanical concealed handles.

Aion V always best value for money, and yet this car not say very popular.

One quick glance on MGS6 spec, seems like it is better than cat A SL7. After a 10k discount, seems not a bad deal.

any premium trim owner here? can share your actual milage on a full charge? and also what is your buying price. thanks

just test drove the V last weekend, and found the premium trim is more than enough for my needs. Got the ventilated seats, all the safety assistant feature..

and because of no glove box, i give the normal center storage box is a plus point for me. the only concern is the smaller battery for shorter range

I think the range and battery for aion V is good enough.
