Trunk Switch Replacement

Hi all, my trunk switch cover has disintegrated and fallen off for some time. While I have tried to ignore it for as long as I can, the exposed switch has recently started to fail.

Nowadays when I try to open the trunk by pressing the switch, sometimes it works, most of the time it doesn't.

Previously the trunk will open automatically when I stand near it with my car key. This function also doesn't work anymore.

My ride is a Kia Cerato EX from 2019.

Guys, any suggestion on where to replace this trunk switch other than going back to C&C?

Also, if the switch is replaced, will the auto opening function still work with the car key?

Any good Audio Shop should know how to do.

This one ? I dont think the switch will come with the round (on/off?) button. if you are afraid, you can bring the part to one of the mechanics out there and ask them to replace it for you, labour cost should be cheap for this type of simple job.

I think that round this is a camera

I can do the installation! 😁

Step 1) remove the trunk cover plastic.
Step 2) unscrew the old switch truck button housing 
Step 3) remove the wire from the old housing 
Step 4) Plug the new switch truck button housing
Step 5) Start the car, test the button to see if it is working. 
Step 6) If is working, Screw and tighten the housing
Step 7) Put back the trunk cover plastic

Thanks. I saw many online too but can't confirm is the model the same. More importantly I want to know if the auto opening function will still work after changing.

My regular mechanic also can't confirm on the latter.. Lol.

Yah, not sure if it's the same model though. The round glass thingy is the camera. Thanks anyway.
