My friend installed FuelMax in his Swift GTi and said that he got better fuel consumption and response. Anyone else have tried this? What other brands of fuel magnets are out there?

Hi Straightsix

I'm using superfuelmax. I'm getting the same as your friend's GTi. I'm driving a 2.7L vehicle, the fuel economy saving is pretty obvious for me. You might wanna consider Turbobrick's magnets, they are a steal at that price. Can go for that. If you have doubts, you might wanna try superfuelmax. I can still gat a set if you want at bout $100 region. But still I'd say TB's offer is better.

I think Fuel Max is subjective... definitely not working well for Guyvers car (unless his expectation is really high !!) [laugh][laugh]

The magnet thingy does work in my corolla G9.. light tapping, better response and even my fuel consumption is better...

My is a auto.. 1/2 tank is around 300 to 320 km..

Hmmm..... i really don't know...... the Emax guys readjusted the Emax thingy for me.. after i feedback to them that i don't feel any difference..... so need to monitor it for awhile more...... and then will try the magnets....

woo [shocked] !! that is 15km/l. may i know how u achieve it. do you drive long distant all the while?

mine also a collora 1.5 auto barely 2+ month old (mil 4300km) and it is around 11-12km/l for home to office (cbd area) routine [:/] . there was once i drove to malaysia, it hit 15.5km/l (mil >1000km).

looking to hv the magnet later too, wonder will it b any problem as it is still very young.

I do not drive long distance.. most AYE from Jurong West to Town.

My "cola-cola" is not stock.. therefore, it defers from others.

I used 15" Supperleggra, Idrium IK20. I think this contribute major factors.. as when I had this two components, I got around 13KM/L on average.

Later, CAI and others.. no much obvious until the magnets.. ah !! yes.. magnets !!

Personally, the magnets can fit into the car even if it is young. When my car was at 2000KM, I changed to Syn Oil.. 15-40.

If you are listening to the BM mechanics.. my advise is hear and forget, they are really crap !! Simple problems they can't even fix properly and have to let MCF members help me to solve within 20 mins.

Han (not Fyrestomp) was screwed big time by BM mech when he went for oil changed..
