Hi,

 

Can i know what are Clay Bars? What are they use for and how to use them.

 

I came across this name and i like to know more about it. What are the pros n cons.

 

Which brand is best.

I was at Tampines Mall(i might be wrong, or Century Square, sorry...) this afternoon and there's this Auto shop shop located in 5th floor.

 

The Clay Bar brand is soft99 and comes in two different color. One is totally WHITE and the other is Green.

 

Worst! The package is written in Japanese and that i can only read a little.dizzy.gifdizzy.gifdizzy.gif

I locate the Soft99 Clay Bar in Tampines Mall(or Century Square) above Nokia Care Centre....

 

Was there to service my handphone.

A picture of a clay bar [150gm type] is attached below. In this instance, it is the Soft99 brand, with a green colour clay bar recommended for "dark & metallic" cars.

 

This colour can be used for most cars [including light coloured cars]...unless your car is white, then use the colour that has been recommended for white colours.

White is for light coloured cars... GREEN is for DARK Coloured cars..

May I know if claybar can be used on my windscreen???

 

My whole car kena blasting grit. Now dont care abt paint work but windscreen all got blasting grit. My wiper is struggling!!!

 

Anyone knows how to remove it??? The other threads only indicated the paint work, nothing for the windscreen.

Hi Adrianli,

 

Yes, you can use clay bar on your glass surfaces, just make sure that the surfaces are sufficiently lubricated with diluted car shampoo or a detailing solution so that the clay bar does not leave any streaks on it. nod.gif
