Depends, my friend knows the young fella there so got a ok deal.

Better try Leong Seng or Yap brothers first....more reasonable and Yap has Kumhos! [cool]

My goodness! My last post in this thread is more than 3 years ago.

If I'm not mistaken, those A300 tyres were pre-maturely replaced when one of them got punctured beyond patching.

I was told that the new DNA db is the replacement to the Aspec db. Any advise on this new tyre? How does it compare to C.Drive (the replacement to the A539)? Thansk.

Yes am using the new Aspect db.Model is called 501.So far clocked 1.6K only.Still very quiet but understand that it's wet performance is improved as a result of poor wet performance feedback for 500.Wanted to fit the C Drive but tyre shop guy told me it's noisier than the Aspect db series. [:)]

The model would be ES501 right? How's the performance in the wet. I am concern about safely, and do not push the tyres to the max. Thanks.

Yes it's 501.Not sure if it's ES tho.Haven't had a chance to try out in the wet yet but think it's ok coz I'm an easy driver as well who doesn't take things to the limit. [:)]

You using Yokohama DNA dB? Where did you bought it and how much?

From the website, it seems that its much better that Aspec dB in terms of quietness, tire life and wet performance. thumbsup.gif

Thanks, will check it out.thumbsup.gif

Last week called up Leong Seng and they recommended DNA dB for quiet and comfortable tyres, and quoted me $95/pc for 195/50/R15 size.nod.gif

My elantra is running on Yokohama Aspec DB A500. It doesn't grip well (i am sure many know that) but the noise level is superb. Have been running it for around 40K but still quiet.

I am comparing the A500 with my Matrix's BF Goodrich in terms of sound level.

I'm also currently using Aspec dB, but recently noticed that ride comfort reduced a bit and somewhat a bit noisy at certain road surface.unimpressed.gif I got mine 2nd hand, so not sure the total mileage on this set......

Not much problem with grip though, cos I don't really drive fast. Maybe I should get DNA dB once I wear out my current set? smile.gif

Any idea what are the sizes and profiles available? Huggable will be changing tyres in a month's time, thinking of trying it out.
