I mean when I press and release, it will go back to the original height. It does not bounce up and down a few times, which if it does it means suspension due for replacement.

upon release from pressing, the car should only bounce once and stop. bouncing a few times also meant that it is a gonna.

Try 33psi and if still got sound go to the dealer and re-create the situation where the sound comes in. If all else fails write to Ford USA to lodge a formal complaint.

Finally got it fixed. The 1st workshop quoted me $750 to change all 4 suspension. The 2nd work shop quoted me $130 to change the rubbers of the 2 front suspension. Which one did I do? The 2nd. No more sound.

Hi,

My car is suffering from this problem too from the front left wheel. Only at low speeds travelling straight would I hear the ClogClog-Clog--ClogClogClog sound, it would be gone as soon as I turn left or right. It sounds like something's loose and knocking against another part, and it's not a consistent rythm, the rythm is quite random.

The last time I asked Regent Motors to check when the car's still under warranty, they said nothing wrong, maybe there's something loose! shocked.gif I was going like, "What! Something's loose and you're telling me it's ok?" mad.gif

Could anyone here advice? Is this due to the bushes too? Thanks!

There are many parts in the suspension that can make a knocking sound. The spring mount is a primary culprit as a broken one will send the rubber spring seat to knock against the chassis.

There's also the anti-roll bar link, control arm and sway bar bushing to consider.

Linkage or a ball joint need to be replace.
