Car scratched, Paint came off

Hi,

 

My car (2 left-side doors) was scratched badly by the car park walls and the paint came off. Where should I go to do the repair? Anyone knows any reliable workshops? How much will it cost to do the patch up?

 

Would anyone recommend Autoglym?

You need to access the damage first. The paint from the walls can be removed by car polish, or simply using kerosene. The physical damage to the paint can be touched-up. But if the panels are dented, you sure need to send for repairs.

 

I recommend Lye designs in AMK autopoint for repairs , you can check out the lobangs thread.

Anyone knows where I can find the car "paint pen" to colour / paint on the scratched and knocks that have revealed the metallic colour pof the car? Checked out Autobacs and they only sell the pens base on Jap cars' colour code... nothing on Conti... they told me I need to guess the nearest colour!

Not keen on meet ups... the reason why I join a forum is to chat with ease in my underpants or my pyjamas whenever I like, w/o travelling to meet people... so convenient on the forum why you guys so enthusiastic abt meeting up? what car are you driving? maybe you can approach the local distributor for a bottle of the paint. Or just ask anyone here who is going for car servicing to approach the distributor on your behalf.....bring a glass bottle and they can usually give you some at no cost
