Welcome to MCF . What year is your civic, EH, EK or ES . You replace your stock filter with a K & N cone filter right, pod is those that looks like a mushroom. Are you refering to the tube that leads from the based of the original filter-box to somewhere below your battery? Anyway, changing anything that's stock (straight from the factory) is consider as illegal if LTA wants to be strict about it. Normally, they do not bother if only changing of air-filter unless you SC, TC or NOS than it'll be a heavy fine $$$

hi....can you tell me roughly how much a cone K&N filter cost?...I recently bought a SIR and was planning to install one...(mine is on stock now).....heard that it will affect my low end power....how does it??? can pls enlighten me??
