Any bros here can advise what is the correct pressure for my 98' Ford Laser? I installed my PBV at Mcwell. It was set at 2 bar. My car's performance did improve. But I believe there is room for improvement.

There is such a website for Nissan cars. It recommended that for Nissan Sunny 1.5, the pressure should be set to 2.9 bar. My friend tried out its recommendation and reported that his car's performance improved tremenduously.

Thanks a million!

My friend got the PBV at Polymotors along Bendemeer Rd for $180 and installation at his mechanic was $50.

Mcwell and Autodesign sells PBV as well, not sure about their pricing with installation.

$180 is considered quite cheap since market selling around $295 with installation.

There's a slight increase in fuel consumption. But I guess the culprit is the driver. With better pick up, there is always this urge to step harder on the accelerator. I must say the feeling of faster pick up can be addictive. The end result is higher fuel consumption.

Don't blame the PBV. Blame the driver. As I've always told my friends.

Did your fuel consumption increase a lot after installing the PBV?

Things like Denso iridium spark plugs, K&N air filter, Broquet in-line system, cat converter, muffler and 4-2-1 extractor.

u complemented the PBV with any other components? eg. Coil, etc..

My car is definitely more powerful. Pick up is much faster than before.

However, I can't tell you if the improvement is 10% or greater. Need to do a dyno test.

how much increase u got over stock config? 10%?

Anyway here can explain how the PBV works?

Is this the same as the guni-gong vacuum thingy at Turbo Low?
