[crazy] I took it out this afternoon liao. I can feel the diff. The response is not there anymore. It takes more time to react to my throttle. And when for changing gear to overtake, it oso takes longer time to change to lower gear.

How to explain these? Can anyone enlighten me??

PBV will not increase the power of your car. It only helps wif getting a smoother gear shift. A setting of 2.9 is too much, you will notice that your fuel consumption increases. With a PBV, u have to change a new fuel pipe. The stock pipe will burst under too much pressure. My advise to u , remove the pbv from your car, my car which is 1 yr old broke down bcoz of it. More over , dyno test with a pbv aand without pbv shows no diff. If you go to ultramax for dyno, u will know immediately. The dyno tester will ask u to remove it b4 the test.

Bro hw much u set ur PBV tt time?

If sae set at 2.2 oso will nid to change a new fuel pipe?

PBV = fuel regulator......

errr..... why do you need that? Maybe if your fuel pump is near its max duty cycle and this can be a crude method to help abit on the increased fueling needs? Then again, a bigger capacity fuel pump is more appropriate..... [sweatdrop]

The pbv works by restricting the amount of fuel to return to the return fuel-line by applying pressure (bar setting by turning the screw) within itself. Like dat, more fuel is "pressurised" at the fuel-line and hence the injectors can spray more fuel into engine, making acceleration better.

More fuel + more air = more power but make fuel con go up

When you switch off engine, the amount of fuel left in the fuel-line cannot supply enough to allow engine to crank. Thats why sometimes must crank longer to start engine.

had this cranking problem also when i had my pbv. Removed it last week and now engine will start immediately with 1 crank. [laugh]
