I am changing tyres soon and have narrowed down to the followings :

1.BF Goodrich G-force sport

2.BS GR 80

3.Falken ZE512

4.Michelin Energy XM1

5.Falken ST115

For my case, grip during wet & dry weather is most important follow by noise. Can bro in this forum provide comments and which one to go for based on the above tyres?

Thanks

Hi, my view - BF Goodrich G-force sport, reasonably priced, great in dry and wet. I don't mind the noise, so if you do might want to consider something else..but my view, noise vs handling and safety..I take handling and safety any day. :)

Seems BF is strongly recommended......should consider liao

BTW, what is the price for Dunlop Direzza DZ101 and Potenza G3 (15"). Are both better than BF?

I was quoted prices between 110-120 generally (some are more than that) for Direzza and G3. Other than the reasons I have stated earlier about why I picked the Direzza, the other 2 important reasons are: I have used G3 before so must try new models and also the boss waived wheel alignment and GST for me as he wanted to get more people to give him feedback on the Direzza. laugh.gif

The price that you mention is it for the tyre size 205/45/R16. Any idea that they selling the tyre size 215/70/15 or not and the price? Me driving CRV , any recommandation on the tyres. Using on singapore roads only, more intrested in getting quite tyres. Presently using bridgestone duler H/T 205/70/15 noisy tyres.

By the way by increasing the tyre size, will the actual mileage be actually more than what the trip meter shows. Thanks

Thought about changing to Gr 80,Is it performance tyres or not, performance tyres really expensive. What about the price of the tyre. Do they carry the size 205/70/15 or 215/65/15 or 215/70/15 or not. What about the performance of the tyres, sound and wet weather performance.Compared with Aspec db from yokohama and the Michelin MXV8 . Which one better?

Another thing is that by upgrading the tyres from 205/70/15 to 215/70/15, will the actual mileage travelled be more than what trip meter shows.

By changing from the bridgestone duler H/T to the normal sedan car tyres. Will it lower down the fuel consumption.

Thanks

for the exact price u may like to check wif the tyre shop that u hv choosen to change ur rubber. they will be able to give u a better quote. For the size it's best to check wif the expert selling the tyres.

How would actually calculate the actual mileage other than relying on the trip meter?

increasing the size of ur rim(lighter rims) n choosing a tyre that is appropriate should not increase too much of ur FC, i think u may be worried abt the rolling diameter of ur tyre in compasion to the mileage travel right? this u got to ask expert liao.
